Some Internet sites are designed to be useful.

Some are not.

Today in Web Watch, we will focus on a few websites that definitely fall into the latter category: websites that ask you to do just one thing – push a button.

First up is  If you’re  a TV game show fan, the domain name itself should tell you what to expect.  If you don’t know what to expect, click the big blue button anyway.

Have you seen THE BIG RED BUTTON?  Whatever you do, don’t click the big red button.  Don’t say you weren’t warned.

CLICK ON THE BUTTON makes clicking a button a challenge game, allowing you to post your button clicking scores on the board for all to see.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU CLICK THE BUTTON? is just another variation on the theme.

Of course, sometimes you don’t want to click the button. Try to HOLD THE BUTTON as long as you can.

And if you’ve ever wanted to MODIFY THE STAPLES “That Was Easy” BUTTON with your own audio clip, here are some detailed instructions.  You’ll need a 9v battery, some wiring, a $10 recordable chip from Radio Shack, a Dremel, and some soldering skills – but in a lazy afternoon, you can have your own customized That Was Easy button.
