Woman arrested for DWS: Driving While Shaving

What’s your most embarrassing arrest story?

Oh, you have to have one.  That one time that you were doing something completely, totally ridiculous — but it made sense at the time – but you ended up getting arrested for it?

Even if what you were doing was perfectly fine if you handled your business at home?

Such is the case of MEGAN BARNES, who found herself arrested after GETTING INTO A CAR ACCIDENT WHILE SHAVING HER BIKINI AREA.

Of course this happened in Florida.  And while Web Watch recognizes that this event occured back in 2010, it’s still an entertaining enough news report that we felt it was worthwhile to share with Web Watch readers even now.

So here’s the gist of the story:

• Megan was driving to see her boyfriend in Key West.
• Megan wasn’t supposed to be driving, as she had been convicted of DUI and driving with a suspended license.
• Megan was driving — and shaving — while her ex-husband was in the passenger seat and handling the steering wheel.

Let’s let that last bulletpoint sink in.  Her ex-husband was driving with her on her way to see her boyfriend, and was more than happy to handle the steering while she took care of some personal business.

That’s got to be one of the best relationships with an ex-spouse Web Watch has ever heard of.
