Everybody has a lookalike.
It’s one of the first rites of passage, from as soon as you’re born you’re instantly being compared to either your mother or your father.
“Oh, he looks just like YOU.”
“She has her mother’s nose, eyes.”
You can’t avoid the comparison – even as you get older people are always comparing you to celebrities they know.
You’re going on a blind date, so your question to your friends is “what do they look like”, and the answer always comes back with some veiled reference to a celebrity: “he’s like a cross between Adam Sandler and Bill Bixby.” “Justin Bieber-hair.”
So it’s only natural that photographer FRANCOIS BRUNELLE has decided to take photos of PEOPLE AND THEIR DOPPELGANGERS.
And it’s remarkable to see how you can find two strangers that look that much alike living in relatively close proximity to each other.
So here’s one question to you, Web Watch readers: who’s YOUR Doppelganger? Who have people always said that you look like?
The funny thing about this is that normal people are always comparing themselves to celebrities. Wouldn’t it be funny to hear Brad Pitt say, “people always tell me that I look like George the cashier over at Safeway.” How awesome would that be for George, huh?
