There’s nothing better on a cool weekend evening than firing up some tunes and sitting out on the deck with some good friends and having a drink or two.
There’s a reason that people take great pride in their music atmosphere — it’s because a party without music is a bit of a downer. Music really does help people have a good time.

Web Watch was having a conversation the other day about what it was like to conduct business – sales, really – in various parts of the country.
One of our friends chimed in that there is a distinct difference between business styles when he visits New York and other northern locales compared to when he travels to the south. In the south things are more relaxed, personal, and a bit slower paced. People tend to care about people first, then they’ll get down to business.
Visits out to the West? Those, he said, were full of feel-good, granola folks.

Different animals can pee different amounts.
College-aged fraternity guys have been known to “pee like a race horse” after (or during) some beer events at the house.
Let’s think about that phrase for a moment — does it mean you’re peeing as much as a racehorse would? Are you peeing in the same manner that a horse does? Or are you merely peeing while running around a track?
Language – it’s so complicated.

So you’re surfing the web without any Ad Block plugin installed in your browser, because you know that Internet content isn’t free.
And you’re checking out some site and you see an ad for a product that you recently Googled for. Or for a website that you visited the other day. Or for a travel destination that is related to a message board you frequent.
All of these are targeted ads, placed there by the businesses as a way to draw you back to their site to conclude any unfinished business you may have left there.

Web Watch was talking with a real estate agent the other day about new home construction, and we thought we’d ask, “has anyone every inquired whether the new home was built on an ancient Indian burial ground?”.
They looked at us blankly, and said “yes”. It’s a quite common question for them, it seems, whether it be new home construction or even trying to find out a bit more about existing home sales.
