When was the last time you blessed yourself with Holy Water?
Have you ever wondered where your Holy Water came from? Or better – whether your Holy Water was any better, higher quality than other water that you may get from other sources?
It ends up that maybe you would be better off having your local priest bless a sealed, plastic bottle of water rather than spritz yourself from the common bowl of Holy Water that everyone who passes by puts their hands into.
That’s because MEDICAL RESEARCHERS IN VIENNA have discovered that 86% OF HOLY WATER IS CONTAMINATED, containing millions of bacteria ranging from E.Coli to Campylobacter to Enterococi and more, including nitrates.
So what’s the solution?
STOP DRINKING THE HOLY WATER.
And also ask your local religious leadership to take ownership of the quality of their Holy Water – monitoring it for quality, replacing/refreshing it on a regular basis. As with any community-shared liquid, take standard precautions with protecting your own health and how you utilize it on (or in) your body.
