People love to eat. When you hear about where people went on a vacation, the first question after “where did you go?” is “what did you eat while you were there?”
There’s a reason that Las Vegas has become a foodie destination for both chefs looking to make a name for themselves as well as gastro-fans who love to tweet out pictures of their dinner to their followers.

Web Watch knows a number of families that have adopted children or who have had children through invitro fertilization. We’ve known our friends for years and celebrate their parenting successes with them just as we sympathized with them through their struggles to have children.
For some, adopting or invitro is the only choice they have for becoming a parent. For others, it’s just another option to consider.
We know of one friend who wasn’t as close with a new parent as they should have been, and upon hearing of their new parent status decided to blurt out, “you look good for having just had a baby and come off maternity leave”.
They had adopted. Our friend was embarassed, to say the least.

There are two things in life that are unavoidable: death and taxes.
And in some cases, some deaths can lead to more taxes if the estate planning and last will and testament aren’t handled carefully.
After all, there’s a reason there are some ARTICLES ABOUT UNUSUAL WILLS and bequethes, with millions upon millions of dollars being left to care for family pets or monkeys.

Like most of us, Web Watch remembers the joys and the horrors of grade school gym class.
Remember that annual tradition of learning square dancing during the cold winter months? Nobody liked doing that, but it was something for the gym teachers to foist upon their charges and hope for the best.
Anything was better than running laps, typically. Square dancing wasn’t it.

When you’re traveling around the country and you pull into the local diner, how do you answer when the waitress asks you if you’d like a Coke?
Do you assume that she’s asking you if you actually would like a Coca-Cola product, or do you think she’s referring to any beverage generically as “Coke”? For some, a pop is a soda. For others, a soda is a pop.
Coke or Pepsi? Amazingly awesome questions to ask your friends!

High school athletics are nothing to sneeze at.

For others, it’s a way out of a podunk town and into a major university or professional career.
But if you participate in a solid high school sports program, there’s a good chance that you’ll end up hurt…. or even dead.

First impressions are important.
You usually know within the first few minutes of meeting someone whether they’re somebody that you’d like to get to know better, or whether it’s someone that you want to get away from immediately.
