American Idol Singers Ranked

Victor Balta at Comcast has RANKED ALL 82 OF THE AMERICAN IDOL FINALISTS SO FAR,  FROM WORST TO FIRST.

We can all agree that the top ten of all American Idols should be these folks, even if some of the specific ranking numbers may need to be tweaked a little amongst the top 5:

1. Kelly Clarkson
2. Carrie Underwood
3. Chris Daughtry
4. Clay Aiken
5. David Cook
6. Jordin Sparks
7. David Archuleta
8. Fantasia Barrino
9. Ruben Studdard
10. Tamyra Gray

Me, I would rank Archuleta, Fantasia, Ruben, and Tamyra a little lower into the teens.  Just didn’t see what all the fuss was about.

But putting Kevin “Chicken Little” Corvais at 81st place?  Sanjaya at 79th?  That’s just wrong.  At least rank them a little higher on the “entertainment and/or we remember who they were” scale.

On second thought, looking through the lower depths of the list… um, yeah – nobody will ever remember some of those folks. 

Except maybe #82.  There’s probably at least one person who’ll remember that one.
