What’s the cheesiest pick-up line that you’ve ever used… that actually worked?

We all know the old standards never do:

“You must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all night.”

“Did it hurt?  Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”

“Want to go back to my place and do all the things I’m going to tell my friends we did anyway?”

And we know that women most often say that “Hi” is the most effective pick-up line.  But honestly – that’s no fun at all.

So how surprising would it be to you to discover that 60% OF WOMEN SURVEYED ACTUALLY LIKE THE CHEESY PICK-UP LINE?

OnePoll.com asked 4000 adults, and found that 40% were either still dating or married to someone who cheesed it out.

According to the survey, these lines actually worked:

• “Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?”
• “Apart from being beautiful, what do you do for a living?”

And these lines most definitely did not:

• “Do you have a map? Because I keep getting lost in your eyes”
• “Is there a rainbow, because you’re the treasure I’ve been searching for”

70% surveyed liked being approached when they were out with friends.  It ends up being a real confidence booster for both parties.  And to pull off one of the standard cheesy pickup lines proves that confidence level is pretty darn high, which is never a bad thing.
