What do 76% of adults do while driving their car?

Everyone likes to think of themselves as a good driver.

So ask your friends the next time you’re at a party: how many people have ever gotten into an accident?  Caused an accident?  Gotten a speeding ticket?

Got the speeding ticket for the highest speed over the limit?

You’d be surprised to hear all these driving horror stories from your friends, yet they would still consider themselves “good drivers”.

How surprised should you be?  If your friends are anything like those in a recent survey – 99% of those surveyed all believe that they’re good drivers.

And yet there are a lot of idiots out on the road.  We can’t all be great drivers, can we?

What’s your Secret Service code name?

Everybody has a nickname.

And as Howard learned on THE BIG BANG THEORY, nicknames are usually assigned to you rather than something that you come up with yourself.  His nickname, if you hadn’t heard, is “Froot Loop”.

How much money do kids make with allowance?

A question for all the parents who read Web Watch: how much money do you pay your kids in an allowance?

One would think this would be a simply question to answer, but it’s really a bit more complicated than one would think.

Are you the type of parent who pays an allowance to their children, no matter what?  Or do you only pay an allowance as payment for specific jobs being done around the house?

How young is too young to get married?

We all have heard about young couples getting married straight out of high school, 18-year-olds who just KNOW that the person they’re marrying is The One for them.

And then there’s the Doug Hutchinsonand Courtney Stodden wedding, where the then 16-year-old Courtney married the 51-year-old actor.   And while there is a significant age difference between Doug and Courtney, we can say that their love has outlasted at least one Kardashian marriage.  So they do have that going for them.

But you should recall that when Courtney and Doug got hitched, there was a huge public outcry over not just their age difference, but also how Courtney’s mother gave permission for her 16-year-old daughter to go through with the marriage in the first place.

Look, if it was true love, Courtney and Doug could have waited two more years until she turned 18.  Then, while still having a little bit of the creepy factor, it would at least be a legal union between adults rather than an arrangement with a minor (albeit one with parental approval).

The 100 Saddest Songs

Elton John probably said it best: “sad songs say so much”.

We all have our own “go to” music that we listen to whenever we’re going through a difficult time.  Some use music to help reinforce one’s feelings; others use music to get the listener to a certain emotional level.

It’s no secret that there are “happy” songs; heck, we all thrive on toe-tapping hits that make us feel good.

But there is a market, a need for “sad” songs as well.

The cost of having noisy sex? $315

When was the last time that your neighbors called the police on you?

It could be for anything, really.  But generally speaking, Web Watch has found that neighborhood police involvement typically revolves around an abuse of noise levels in the area.

Loud parties, loud music, loud fights.   All are fairly common complaints.

But loud sex?  That’s a different story altogether, isn’t it?

How to travel across the country using only social media

Lindsay Rule is comfortable traveling by herself, which is unusual for a young single woman in today’s scary world.

Don’t get us wrong – it’s not that traveling by oneself that’s the scary part – it’s the way that Lindsay chose to do it that may have given her family and friends a bit of a scare.

On the other hand, if you think about what Lindsay did, she was probably traveling in the most safe way possible.  She technically wasn’t traveling alone; she was bringing hundreds of eyes with her, watching her every move.

Want kids to eat more fruits and vegetables? It’s all about cartoon marketing

Look, we all know that kids today are a little on the plump side.

They don’t like to exercise, they don’t like to eat anything but fast food.

Blame it on MTV, video games, and Ronald McDonald.

But there’s a reason for it – and it may have something to do with the same reason that Sugar Smacks had to be changed to just Smacks on the cereal aisle.
