Have you heard about THE DELI MAN?
It’s a film currently in development that focuses on ZIGGY GRUBER, the owner of KENNEY AND ZIGGY’S DELICATESSAN in Houston.
That’s right, Houston Texas has Jewish delis. Who knew?

If you’ve never had the opportunity to visit the Old Country (Germany, Italy, France, etc), you’ll be amazed at how history surrounds you at every turn when you do finally make it over there.
Everywhere you look will be some ancient building or piece of art, forever preserved for the never-ending crowds of ooh-ing and aahh-ing tourists. Even just stepping out of the high-speed, modern train station in Venice is like stepping immediately into the 14th century (get to Venice while you can, before it sinks away into the sea forever – it’s worth the trip).

What’s your most embarrassing arrest story?
Oh, you have to have one. That one time that you were doing something completely, totally ridiculous — but it made sense at the time – but you ended up getting arrested for it?
Even if what you were doing was perfectly fine if you handled your business at home?

Have you purchased your Thanksgiving turkey yet?
In case you haven’t, here’s a helpful tip: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRESH AND FROZEN TURKEY is negligible. Some people would say that Fresh is always better… but if you’re one of those, you’ll need to keep in mind that a FRESH turkey must be cooked within 2 days of being purchased, according to the USDA’s guidelines on food safety. A frozen turkey make take days to thaw properly (figure about 1 day for every 4-5 pounds) — so if you were to start your frozen turkey thaw now, you should be good to go for the Thanksgiving holiday.
As for those who thought they’d go out and have already purchased their fresh, unfrozen turkey — they may want to be sure to keep that thing on ice for another day or two before beginning the brining process. Don’t want to give your Thanksgiving guests any food poisoning, do you?

Ah, Twinkies.
Whether the Hostess company goes away with all their products, or if some other company decides to purchase the brands and recipes and continue onward, that we will soon have a world without Hostess is sad in many ways.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Trying to find The Ultimate Game To Play when it’s holiday time with the family can be tough.
Not everybody likes playing Monopoly, and most other board games are limited to either four or six players maximum anyway. So if you have a large gathering, it can be tough to find a group or party game that everybody can participate in.
What are you typically left with? Trivia games, Pictionary, Cranium. You know – team-based stuff.
But what if you’re tired of competing as a team when you have 10 or more people hanging out at your house for hours on end?

We’ve all heard the expression that “Money can’t buy happiness”, and we’ve heard all the follow-up jokes about it just being a matter of where you shop.
It turns out that maybe those jokes were telling a little bit of the truth, after all.

Of all of the holidays in a year, Thanksgiving is typically the most stressful.
It’s a holiday where families are forced to be together. Forced to travel in crowded conditions. Forced to eat the same traditional dinner every year. Forced to rush out that night to get in line for those desired Doorbuster purchases.
