These are the worst quality car brands

Everybody loves their cars, right?

It’s the first major purchase you dream about as a kid growing up. Next to the place you live, it’s something that defines you to others – how clean it is on the outside, how much trash it has on the inside, whether you maintain the dings, how well (or poorly) you drive.

As you are, as is your car.

So which car do you end up buying when you have the choice to do so?

Do you buy the one that’s the sportiest? The flashiest? The most practical?  The safest? The one with the best gas mileage?

Or do you go with the one that’s your favorite color?

Maybe you should make your purchasing decision based on the QUALITY OF THE VEHICLE, according to the latest survey from JD Power.

And according to this year’s survey, here are the WORST QUALITY CAR BRANDS YOU COULD PURCHASE:

  1. Fiat
  2. Jeep
  3. Mitsubishi
  4. Scion
  5. Mazda

Web Watch has had some experience with some of the above mentioned worst car brands.  And while we may agree with some aspects of the quality discussion, we will say that we drove one of those vehicles into the ground (over 200k miles, ain’t too shabby for the price we paid for it originally), and the other one was totaled in an accident that could have been much, much worse if the vehicle’s safety system wasn’t working perfectly.

In other words, just because these are listed as “the worst in quality” doesn’t mean that they are necessarily bad vehicles overall.  Caveat Emptor.

As for the BEST QUALITY cars, according to the survey?  Stick with the basics:

  1. Porsche
  2. Jaguar
  3. Lexus
  4. Hyundai
  5. Toyota
