When one thinks of VIDEO GAMES, you don’t really think that POPULAR MECHANICS would be considered an authority on the subject.
You’d be wrong.
The writers and editors over there have put their heads together to come up with what they are calling THE 100 BEST VIDEO GAMES OF ALL TIME.
OF ALL TIME!
Now, there’s bound to be some debate here. There were many groundbreaking games that should be ranked high on the list (remember Sierra On-Line’s PHANTASMAGORIA? That was a pretty damn good game!) Myst or 7th Guest were amazing in their own right, plus they advanced the adoption of CD drives in home computers. And what about naming Tetris as number one?
Well – it’s not.
