The best album OF ALL TIME, OF ALL TIME!

Judging what the best Music Album of all time is can be very subjective. What is, um, music to one person’s ears can sound like cat-scratching to others.

But when you consolidate every single BEST OF list into a single collaborative source… then maybe you’ve got something.

That’s the premise behind BEST EVER ALBUMS, where they have consolidated over 17,000 (yes, 17,000!) different Best Of music charts into one single, definitive listing of the BEST ALBUM EVER MADE.

Let’s take a look at the Top Ten:

  1. OK Computer, Radiohead
  2. Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd
  3. Revolver, The Beatles
  4. Abbey Road, The Beatles
  5. Sgt Pepper, The Beatles
  6. Nevermind, Nirvana
  7. Kid A, Radiohead
  8. Led Zeppelin IV, Led Zeppelin
  9. Funeral, Arcade Fire
  10. The White Album, The Beatles

Going deeper into the list, we see some favorites and obvious choices:

  11. Velvet Underground, Velvet Underground
  12. London Calling, The Clash
  13. Pet Sounds, Beach Boys
  14. Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
  15. The Bends, Radiohead
  16. In Rainbows, Radiohead
  17. In The Aeroplane, Over The Sea, Neutral Milk Hotel
  18. Highway 61 Revisted, Bob Dylan
  19. Doolittle, Pixies
  20. Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie

We don’t understand how Paul Simon’s GRACELAND comes in at #117.

We demand a recount.
