It’s all about the money when it comes to apps. And making money? Well, that’s why we make ’em.
These aren’t necessarily the most popular apps out there – but they are the ones that are raking in the most money – most likely via in-app purchases. And really, is it any surprise that the majority of these hit money-making apps are games? No, not really.
Let’s take a look at who’s making the money this month:
By now, you’re probably already familiar with the CLICKBAIT website offshoot of popular Fake News site THE ONION, called CLICKHOLE.
Clickhole is trying to do for clickbait news articles and websites (think Huffington Post) what The Onion did for, well, old-school news writing. Anything that could be said in a clickable headline to generate a clickthrough is what Clickhole is aiming for.
Every morning, the first thing most people do when they wake up is fire up their smartphone and check their social media sites.
What happened in the world while we were asleep?
For some, it’s a way to catch up on the world news. For others, it’s a way to see what your friends are doing that you missed out on. FOMO – Fear of Missing Out – is a real disease, friends, and one that should be stopped in its tracks.
But apparently, people are still not paying attention. Yet again, we’ve hearing news reports of leaked hacked passwords list, and “password” and “123456” are still at the top of the list of passwords being used.
How bad is this? Maybe it all depends on which websites you’re using it on.
