- The percentage of women who say that they have sex simply to get their boyfriend or husband to help around the house: 84%
- 30 minutes of sex burns 200 calories, on average. Foreplay, sadly, does not count towards this total.
- 20% of Americans have had sex with a co-worker. Think about this — if you work in a 5-person office, that means two of you have slept together.
- One in four Americans have an incurable STD. Remember that 5-person office you’re working in? See those other four people across the room from you? Guess what one of them has?
- 12% of married people sleep alone, whether it be in separate rooms or separate beds.
- The average couple spends 20 minutes on foreplay.
- The average person has sex 103 times per year, or about once every 3.5 days.
- 48% of women surveyed have faked an orgasm at least once
- 48% of Americans report that they are satisfied with their sex life. The report was not clear if this 48% and the 48% who faked orgasms were the same group.
