Why? Because sometimes your best guy/gal pal is really in love with you. If you don’t believe us, then at least pay attention to the number of sitcom or movie plotlines where two casual acquaintances hook-up somewhere along the way to big ratings or movie grosses. And if you’re not paying attention, you may miss a golden opportunity to find someone to spend the rest of your life with.
Here are some of the signs to be aware of:
- She wears more makeup, dresses better, or otherwise makes herself much prettier than you normally see her. So if you’re always playing in a co-ed softball league and you suddenly notice one of the girls doesn’t have that “game stink” that she normally has… that might be something to pay attention to.
- She no longer talks about other guys in front of you. Because she wants you to think that you’re the only one in her life. It may not be true, but perception is half the battle.
- She returns your texts, emails, or phone messages right away. She’s thinking of you, and wants you to know that. This is especially true if quick response is normally not part of her previous routine.
- She’s always making excuses to hang out with you alone. Especially if it’s on a weekend night – you’re not “hanging out”…. you’re “dating”.
