Web Watch has been invited to many weddings – some, more than once (we have some rather prolific marriage-minded friends, you see).
But we do have a ritual that we try to go through with for every wedding – and that’s to leave a special “wedding night gift” for the happy couple at their hotel.
We know how stressful weddings can be for some couples, so we usually try to include items in the gift basket that they may have forgotten to pack for themselves. You can only imagine what that basket may contain.
Thoughtful, aren’t we?
But wouldn’t you know it?
It turns out that COUPLES ARE NOT HAVING SEX ON THEIR WEDDING NIGHT AFTER ALL.
That fantasy, it seems, is just a myth.
According to the survey, here are the TOP TEN REASONS THAT COUPLES ARE NOT HAVING WEDDING NIGHT SEX:
- 24%: The groom was drunk
- 16%: Bride was tired and fell asleep
- 13%: Bride was drunk
- 11%: Children
- 9%: The wedding fight
- 9%: Have to leave, travel
- 7%: Too much partying with wedding guests
- 4%: Groom was tired and fell asleep
- 4%: Just didn’t feel like it
- 3%: Other reasons not listed
