Survey: How often do you eat breakfast?

Are you a breakfast eater?

Web Watch has always been told that the key to a good day and good health is a good balanced breakfast. After all, our body has just woken up from what is likely 9 hours from the last meal it received, and it needs nourishment to keep going until lunch.

Only a fool would completely skip breakfast, right?  We gotta love our Cocoa Krispies and Count Chocula.

Well, if you are a breakfast skipper, then you are in the majority.

A recent survey by Kraft Foods showed that while 63% of those surveyed feel a little rundown in the morning (which any good $4 Starbucks or 5-Hour Energy will fix in a jiffy), only 48% of Americans actually eat breakfast every day.

Feeling old?  If you look at today’s younger generation, that increases to 64% of Gen-X who don’t eat a daily breakfast.

So where are the most breakfasts being eaten?  Boston, Washington DC (a “power breakfast”, we’re sure), Chicago, and San Francisco.
