Which are the least friendliest cities in the country?

Everyone likes to say that they love where they live, that they’re amazed when people move away claiming that they just didn’t care for the place.

Face it – some people love wherever they are, others need to be more acclimated.

But whenever you go visit someplace, what’s the first thing that people often say about their vacation?  “Oh, everyone was so nice!”.

Granted, sometimes you run into a rotten apple or two, but seldom do you come back and complain about how unfriendly a place is overall.

Until now.

According to a RECENT SURVEY BY THUMBTACK, here are the TOP FIVE LEAST FRIENDLY CITIES IN THE US:

  1. Sacramento, California
  2. Providence, Rhode Island
  3. Buffalo, NY
  4. Bridgeport, Connecticut
  5. San Diego, California

Of course, we should also share with you who they named as the MOST FRIENDLY CITIES:

  1. Colorado Springs
  2. Boise
  3. Houston
  4. Austin
  5. Louisville

Of course, the term “friendliest” is a bit loose.  For this survey, Thumbtack was specifically looking at the overall business climate and how it relates to small business.

We’re sure the people in each city are all very nice, even if the business environment is less than inviting when compared to other cities they surveyed.
