Such is the situation Ricky Gervais found himself in last year, and withELMO IN THE NEWS,Web Watch thought it would be a good time to revisit this classic converation between Ricky Gervais and Elmo.

In this clip, Ricky asks Elmo the eternal Muppet question surrounding why Elmo does (or doesn’t) wear pants. Just zip forward to about the 0:35 mark for the comedy fun.
And in case you were wondering, Ricky’s advice to Elmo is to avoid three discussion topics: drugs, child abuse, and the Holocaust.
