Update on Nude Summer Camps

Remember the story we had last year about Naked Summer Camps for Teenagers?

It seems a lot of folks didn’t care for the concept, after all.

The AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF FOR NUDE RECREATION HAS CANCELLED THE SUMMER YOUTH CAMP.

Citing a federal court ruling prohibiting children to be “openly nude” without their direct parental, grandparental, or guardian’s supervision, the association overlooking the summer camp program has decided that it was in their best interest to close the summer camp rather than fight the court ruling.

In a press release, the AANR said that parents are more than welcome to attent the summer camp with their children, but they couldn’t require that to occur – just as basketball camps, computer camps, or other summer camp programs don’t require parents to attend those camps also.
