2010 is not quite over, and Yahoo! has decided that it’s time for them to release what they are saying are the TOP TEN SEARCHES FOR 2010. In other words, if you want to game the system to get your own search term into the top ten – you have less than a month to hack away.
In all the years that Yahoo! has been compiling this list, this is the first year that a news-related item took the #1 spot.

The most asked question on Yahoo! was “How to tie a tie”. The other top “how to” questions asked on Yahoo! were “how to lose weight”, “how to kiss”, and “how to write a resume.”
