Dating today can be rather difficult.
Web Watch was chatting with a friend the other day, and she was sharing all sorts of stories about the strange people who contact her on her dating profile. If it was just one person out of a dozen, then she’d write that contact off as a fluke – but for some reason, she’s really attracting the crazies.
We can imagine how frustrating that can be – all she wants to do is meet somebody who’s relatively normal and decent. One would think that wasn’t asking for much.
So that’s the pretense that dating site TWOO has gone through, to really take an in-depth look at what PEOPLE WERE LOOKING FOR IN A POTENTIAL DATING PARTNER, based in part on what people had listed in the online dating profiles.
Web Watch will start with the basics: 7% of men surveyed cited “great breasts” as something they look for in a partner.
Following up on that, 22% of men said that they liked nice eyes, 20% wanted a cute smile. Just 8% was looking for a good-looking butt.
Women, on the other hand, also said that eyes and a smile were important, but just 2.7% said they were looking for a man with muscles.
As for hair color, blondes won out on the men by a considerable margin. Next on the list? Redheads.
If you’re a man, you may want to study up a bit — 28% of women in their 30’s said that brains were very important to them.
