Study: March Madness is the perfect time to get that vasectomy

Scheduling elective surgery is usually difficult with regards to timing. How long will you be out, what will you be able to do during recovery?

Plenty of sports stars do their elective surgeries in the off-season of their sports so they have time to sit around and handle their physical therapy without interrupting other things on the schedule.

But what about the average person? Are there good times of the year to address specific surgeries?

The answer is “yes”. Yes, there is.

Studies have come out that say MARCH MADNESS IS THE PERFECT TIME OF YEAR TO HAVE A VASECTOMY.

That’s right – a time when balls are flying across basketball courts across the country is the perfect time for men to have their own balls addressed.

Urologists say that they see up to 50% more vasectomy requests in the days leading up to the first two weeks of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, as men determine that the typical four days of recovery time can line up fairly well with the four days of non-stop basketball during that timeframe.

The second most popular time to sit at home and watch TV while recovering? THE MASTERS golf tournament.
