Video Fun: Sing If You Can

Karaoke Revolution
Karaoke Revolution

Karaoke can be a fun.

Karaoke can be even more fun when it’s made into a game.

KARAOKE REVOLUTION was just the start, but there’s no danger in singing with friends in your living room.

Then came DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS and THE SINGING BEE (both regular and country versions), and KARAOKE BATTLE USA.  Sure, those games were fun… but again, where was the danger?  The risk?

What was the worst thing that happened to you if you sang poorly?  You’d be voted off the island.

So you know what would be better?  How about a risky karaoke-themed game show, featuring B- and C-list celebrities and musicians singing the pop hits of the day?  Maybe one starring JACKASS star Steve-O as host?

Okay, maybe Steve-O isn’t the greatest choice for host, but let’s give the man a chance to prove himself, because the concept of the show — “karaoke being done while the singers complete a Wipeout-style obstacle course” has promise.

Let’s take a look at what the original European version of the show was like, SING IF YOU CAN.  And let’s hope they don’t screw up the American version of this show like they did with the US version of HOLE IN THE WALL or other stunt-based games.
