What is the most annoying office behavior?

We’ve all worked in an office where there’s at least one person who just gets under your skin.

Maybe you just have a personality conflict, or maybe you hate covering for them because they just aren’t carrying their weight.  One person that Web Watch worked with in the past needed their manager to provide some much-needed personal hygiene advice.  How would YOU like to be the one to initiate that conversation?

It’s not the easiest thing to say to someone, that they need to take a shower or wash their clothes as it’s disturbing the office environment.  But it happens, and we’ll bet it happens more often than we’re led to believe.

How much money does Pandora pay artists for music streaming?

Whether you get your music listening fix from your own MP3’s stored on your cellphone/tablet/desktop, from the local AM/FM radio station, or a streaming service like PANDORA, SPOTIFY, or others — you know that nothing is ever free.

Whether it be listening to advertising, viewing popups, or purchasing the audio files from your favorite vendor (Apple, Amazon, Google Play, Best Buy) — that music has to get to you somehow.  And it’s that transport that’s going to cost someone, somewhere.

How to pee during a filibuster

The rules of a filibuster are quite clear — you can usually speak for as long as you want, as long as you do stay on topic and don’t leave the floor.

In Texas, you’re not even allowed to lean or sit.  It’s not easy to continually talk about a specific topic for hours on end, let alone do it without a bathroom break.

So it’s the inevitable question: CAN YOU PEE DURING A FILIBUSTER?

Top Grossing Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android (June 2013)

You own an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, right?

Web Watch doesn’t even know why we’re asking — we’re fairly certain that you’re reading this on your cellphone right now.

So how many different apps have you downloaded?  A dozen?  Fifty?  And even if the vast majority of them are free… they were really more of a “freemium” download.  A freemium is where they give you a little taste of the game for free, but if you really want to enjoy it, you’re going to need to pony up some cash to unlock certain features.

Swimming pools are filled with sweat, saliva… and more

How many of Web Watch readers own a swimming pool?

Thought so.  It’s always a popular item for your FRIENDS to have, but it’s seldom something that you want to invest in yourself.  Some have said that a swimming pool is just a hole in the ground that you throw money into.  Add to the equation how hard it can be to sell a house that has a swimming pool — some people won’t mind or will openly embrace the pool being there.  Others will turn away from the pool at all costs, even if the rest of the house is perfect.

Sometimes owning a swimming pool just isn’t worth the time, hassle, and money for maintenance.

Most Iconic Brands across the US

Whenever Web Watch travels around the country, we always try to “go local” whenever possible.  We can eat at an Applebee’s or a McDonald’s almost anywhere… but we’ll go out of our way to chow down at an IN-N-OUT BURGER or grab a beer at the WYNKOOP BREWERY because, well, we can’t get that stuff locally.

Well, we could if we put some effort into the project, but you know what we mean.  When you travel, you want to be like a native.  If that means drinking sweet tea while in the South, or grabbing some BBQ in Texas, having a lobster roll in Maine — well, by golly, that’s what we’re going to do.

Video Fun: Singing at the Fast Food Drive Thru

It’s a tired comedian point of view: nobody can ever understand the fast-food worker at the other end of the drive thru order speaker.

The order comes back mumbled, they never get anything right when you order at the drive thru. You’re always stuck behind the mom with the 14 different orders for each member of the baseball team in her minivan (along with 14 different payments for each one).

Yup, the drive thru can be a real blah.

The definitive guide to The Sopranos final episode (“Did Tony Die?”)

THE SOPRANOS was, as everyone who’s seen the show has said, a milestone in television history.  There are very few television series that can get that amount of water cooler talk going these days, although some have tried (*cough* The Red Wedding *cough*).

But with The Sopranos, it really did hit its peak with the final episode, which is widely considered THE BEST FINAL TV EPISODE EVER, even though Entertainment Weekly said it was only worth the #10 spot on their list.  Go figure.
