Bridal Bargains: Secrets to Throwing a Fantastic Wedding on a Realistic Budget
If you’re on a tight budget like most newlywed couples are, then you may be the type of couple that still wants to throw a fancy, special wedding but are trying to keep your costs down.
There are all sorts of ways to do this — Web Watch is in favor of the “don’t invite anyone” wedding in terms of cost containment — but on the other hand, our input on this subject is often summarily dismissed.

A Step-By-Step Guide to Creating Fabulous Images of Any Woman
As is almost always the case with technology, porn leads the way.
It was the case with VHS vs Beta video tapes. It’s been the case with online payments. And it’s been the case with social media.
Porn is a big money-making industry, and the Internet has just made it easy for Anyone to do it. And we’re not just talking about those leaked celebrity sex tapes, either.
Opera 101: Complete Guide to Learning and Loving Opera
How long can you hold it?
No, we’re not talking about how long can you go without peeing (although we have seen that there can be issues, such as the infamous Hold Your Wee for a Wii contest that resulted in a competitor’s death).
Web Watch was visiting an office a few weeks ago when the people we were visiting were trying to log onto the shared computer in the conference room.
They thought they knew the password, but something wasn’t right. After about 20 minutes of trying, they called their IT guy for help. He walked in, went over to the computer, and read the correct password off of a Post-It Note that had been taped to the machine specifically for this purpose.
This was in a high-security building, in a room that only a few people had keys for — and the password was taped to the machine for anyone to use. It probably wouldn’t be a problem, as many people would need to use that same computer, but we’ve been told for years not to post passwords on Post-It Notes.

How To Take Better Pictures Like A Pro
Whenever Web Watch goes on a trip – say to Las Vegas, Walt Disney World, San Francisco… wherever – we are completely dumbfounded by all the tourists and families who are trying to get “that perfect shot”.
They group their people together on one side of the walkway, then expect the entire crowd to stay out of the way while you compose the shot.
Have you ever been trying to get from Point A to Point B at any of these touristy spots without having to constantly stop to be courteous to these photo hounds? We’ve gotten to the point where we say, “Screw it – they’re using a digital camera or their phone, they can take another shot” and we walk right through the photo opp. We’ve got place to be, folks – so let us move on and get out of your way.
Cirque Du Soleil Anniversary Collection
At last count, Web Watch has seen 14 different Cirque du Soleil shows –which, at an average ticket price of $100 apiece, plus concessions and otherwise, means that we’ve spent a hell of a lot of money on Guy Laliberte’s entertainment empire.
And every cent so far we consider money well spent. Each production has been thoroughly entertaining and exciting.
One question we’re oft wondered is what it takes to be a Cirque du Soleil performer. And while a lot of this was answered in the phenomenal reality series FIRE WITHIN on Bravo (seriously, it was awesome!), the question still remains about the physicality of what those performers do and how they do it.

We all have those friends who tell us, “please don’t email me about that website. We’ve seen it already.”
Web Watch will admit — while we try to make every post we share with you a new and timely one, every once in a while we dig back into our website archives to bring you a link to a site or something else on the web that may be a little dusty in terms of timeliness.
Hey, it happens. We’ve shared literally thousands of links with Web Watch readers over the years — a few of the more common sites may filter through on occasion.
