You’ve seen the SNL DIGITAL SHORTS on Saturday Night Live for the past few years. Many people have said that they’ve been the most consistently funny part of the show since they’ve begun.

All the shorts are the brainchildren of The Lonely Island comedy group – Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. (Click the album cover image, buy their album — it comes with a DVD with many of their Digital Shorts, some never seen on TV)

They won an Emmy award for the Justin Timberlake collaboration, Dick in a Box. But other Internet users are taking notice, and making their own versions of the original films. The first big Digital Short, Lazy Sunday, was the start of the parody run, but as you can see, it certainly wasn’t going to be the last. The guys over at COLLEGE HUMOR have had a lot of fun at each others’ expense over the years by pranking each other.

To date, there have been seven classic pranks, each one escalating in over-the-topness from the previous one. Let’s take a look at where it started, and where it has led to so far. Some things that you can take from the following videos are:

having a sense of humor is required if you work for a website called College Humor
don’t get into a prank war with people who are funnier and more creative than you are, who also have a seemingly unlimited amount of money and friends to assist them

The guy-oriented cable channel SPIKE TV has put out their A-to-Z GUIDE FOR CHASING PLUS-SIZED CHICKS, and why the larger ladies are worth having. Yup, all 26 letters are accounted for. I’ve selected a few here to entice you – check the link for the full alphabet.

B is for Business Class
When you date a big girl, your days of flying coach are over.

E is for Easier
Chances are, the reason why you’re chasing larger chicks is because it’s usually easier to snag one, and they are oh-so-grateful.

H is for Hot Friend
Girls with a few extra pounds almost always have hot female friends.

K is for King-Sized Bed
A larger lady needs a larger bed.

N is for Never Say Never
You have to try most things at least once, so don’t knock being with a big girl until you’ve tried it, and don’t hate on guys that do.

Q is for Quantity over Quality
It’s like a buffet. The quality of food is terrible, but you can eat as much as you like and leave very satisfied.

Video Fun: Wedding Reception Dances

We’ve all been to interesting weddings.

Some I’ve attended were memorable due to the groomsmen (they were all in a band together), the catering decorations (the official photographer was taking pictures of all the wedding guests licking the ice sculpture over the course of the evening), or the bride sharing with everyone about the types of tranquilizers she was on that day. I even have a tale to tell about what songs NOT to play at a wedding reception, but that’s a different story for a different day.

For now, take a gander at what these wedding receptions were like. They all seem like fun, don’t they?

I think what we can take away from this is that what you think is an original idea may already have been done. So if you’re thinking of doing a fun dance at the reception, try to be a bit original.
