How well do you know your album covers?
Maybe not as well as you thought, especially if key components of said cover have been Photoshopped out, just like we’ve seen with the INVISIBLES game a few years ago – you remember that one, where people were digitally erased out of movie scenes and you had to guess what the film was?
If you want to be a songwriter, they say that you should write about what you know.
And if you want to be a successful songwriter, it ends up that you should WRITE SONGS ABOUT SEX.

Now, they turn on any of the CSI shows and get a song from The Who. They turn on Law & Order and get a “bum-bummmmm”. They turn on Survivor and, depending on the intricacies of the episode plotline may either get the long-form, short-form, or some variation in-between of the show’s intro.
Web Watch was having lunch the other day with a group of people that included a woman who had recently moved to the United States after having grown up in a number of foreign countries.
If you’re one of the millions of people watching AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (and let’s face it, you don’t get to be the number one TV program by not having millions of people watching), then you’ll know that AGT is a little lame compared to it’s older sibling BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT.
BGT has given us Susan Boyle, among other talented artists. Overall, BGT is just more… fun… than what we get here in the States.
So here’s a little video fun from a former BGT contestant BRETT DOMINO. Sometimes he performs as a duo, sometimes as a trio. The important thing is that he owns a keytar and isn’t afraid to use it.

Rock band THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS wrote a song all about what it allegedly took to get a song on the radio, aptly entitled Hey Mr DJ, I Thought You Said We Had a Deal. In it, the lyrics read, in part:

And while it may appear that TMBG is talking about PAYOLA — paying money to a DJ to get a song on the airwaves — what they could be talking about is just THE BUSINESS OF MAKING MUSIC.

Canadian music fan Andrea Irwin has an incident on her permanent record , just for attending a Kid Rock concert.
It’s not unusual for people to be arrested at a Kid Rock show – it’s mostly out-of-control drunks and the occasional fight in the pit. Web Watch has seen it first-hand — Rock puts on a great, entertaining and engaging show. He’s a showman. His fans really get into it.
But to kick Andrea out of the building for merely enjoying herself and getting caught up in the moment? That’s not right.
So what did Andrea do that was so horribly, horribly wrong that got her in trouble at a Kid Rock show?
