The Five Most Visited Websites

How many websites do you visit in a day?  Week?  Month?

We know, just from you reading this today, that you visit at least one website that we know about.  And chances are, you got here after visiting a search engine or a link from another site.

And it’s really hard to guess what the LEAST VISITED WEBSITE IN THE WORLD is, because there are any number of purchased domains that some bloke is using for their own personal storage space rather than serving a public service.  For every website that you may have heard of, there are likely thousands that are only known about by the person who purchased the domain name.

What’s the Best American Novel ever written?

It is summer, and summertime can only mean one thing: the dreaded SUMMER READING LIST.

Remember those? You would be given a list of super-boring books that you absolutely had to read over the carefree sunny days spread out before you, and everyone always did the exact same thing:  everyone waited until two days before school was back in session for the Fall and rushed out to the store to buy the Cliffs Notes versions.

Smart kids would have purchased the Cliffs Notes earlier in the summer, while inventory levels were high.  Pity the kids who rushed to the local bookstore only to find the dreaded SOLD OUT sign on the rack.

Things people do in bed other than sleep

How much time do you spend in your bedroom, doing something other than sleeping?

A lot of studies have said that the bedroom shouldn’t be used for anything that’s not sleep-related, as it can slowly coach your body into thinking that it needs to be doing that other activity instead.  You know how some people can fall asleep instantly in the car?  Their bodies have acclimated themselves to equate “car” and “sleep”.   Doing work at home while in bed can lead to the same trouble… but in this case, it would be the inability to sleep.

What is the most annoying office behavior?

We’ve all worked in an office where there’s at least one person who just gets under your skin.

Maybe you just have a personality conflict, or maybe you hate covering for them because they just aren’t carrying their weight.  One person that Web Watch worked with in the past needed their manager to provide some much-needed personal hygiene advice.  How would YOU like to be the one to initiate that conversation?

It’s not the easiest thing to say to someone, that they need to take a shower or wash their clothes as it’s disturbing the office environment.  But it happens, and we’ll bet it happens more often than we’re led to believe.
