If you’re like Web Watch, you’ve likely spent hundreds – if not thousands – of quarters at the local mall arcade playing Pac-Man, Defender, Smash TV, Zaxxon, Spy Hunter, any number of pinball games like the Addams Family machine, iRobot, and many others.

And while you may have your own personal favorite to play because you were good at the game or you liked the storyline, there’s that one machine that everybody seems to love (or at least, think nostalic about) but everyone hated to play.

Except for That One Guy who knew all the right moves at all the right times.

While watching today’s mallrats, one can’t help but notice how many kids today are constantly chewing gum. Seriously, pay attention the next time you’re walking through the mall or hanging out at the local Starbucks. If you can get past the high shrill voices of “OMG!” and “Like, you know” pouring out of their mouths, pay attention to the constant cud chewing going on and you’ll soon see what we mean.

So if you’re going to be President, you have to be sure to look your best. And be extremely charismatic, so you can get your job done. It’s called “politics” for a reason, folks, and being able to persuade people to do what you need them to do requires a ton of charisma.

As we get deeper into the Holiday Gift Giving season, perhaps its time to take a moment to reflect on whether that wine accessory really is something that the recipient would appreciate.

The way Web Watch sees it, if you’re going to give a wine enthusiast a gift, you might as well give them a bottle of wine that either YOU like (so you can then say, “hey, let’s open that bottle I just gave you”) or a bottle of wine that you know THEY’LL like in the hopes that they will open that bottle and share with you anyway.

Funny thing about giving a gift of wine – you’ll probably end up having some of it anyway.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to visit the Old Country (Germany, Italy, France, etc), you’ll be amazed at how history surrounds you at every turn when you do finally make it over there.

Everywhere you look will be some ancient building or piece of art, forever preserved for the never-ending crowds of ooh-ing and aahh-ing tourists. Even just stepping out of the high-speed, modern train station in Venice is like stepping immediately into the 14th century (get to Venice while you can, before it sinks away into the sea forever – it’s worth the trip).
