Bands are always trying to figure out what the “next big thing” can be in making their music videos more interesting and engaging with their fans.
You could do the same thing (concert video) that everyone else does, or you could work outside of your comfort zone and do something a bit different — both in film style as well as music style. Why lipsync when you can play live in a unique venue?
What do you like to do when you go to the beach on vacation?
Are you a total sunbather, just hanging out on your lounge and never going into the water? Or are you a more active person, playing volleyball, surfing, digging sand castles?
Different people like to do different things while at the beach – but everyone needs to remember that the beach is a shared experience, and you don’t want to do anything to be THAT guy (or THAT girl) while hanging out on a beautiful day.

The illusions aren’t the same once you know how they’re done, or at least have thought of a plausible way for the trick to be accomplished. You spend all your time looking for the hook and not appreciating the trick for the trick.
