And you know the best way to get a dog is to adopt an unwanted or abandoned puppy from an animal shelter rather than to go to a breeder and pay more money than necessary. Of course, if purebreds are your thing – then go for it, but if you listen to Bob Barker’s (and now Drew Carey’s) spiel at the end of every episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT, you know that going to a shelter will give you the warm fuzzies – both literally and figuratively.

According to a SURVEY BY APPA, WHICH IS THE MOST POPULAR PET?
First, since we know you’re going to ask — the APPA is the American Pet Products Association, and they’ve been doing an annual National Pet Owners Survey since 1998. So they kinda know what they’re talking about when it comes to America’s pets.

Web Watch has many friends who are avid bicyclists. They’ll ride their bikes every chance they get, and have even gone on month-long bicycle excursions across the country and around the world.
And why not? They’re young, they’re healthy, and they follow the rules of the road – even stopping at traffic lights and stop signs like they’re supposed to so they don’t get hit by cross-traffic.
But the one thing these friends lament is that they can’t take their beloved doggie with them on these long bike rides.
