While watching today’s mallrats, one can’t help but notice how many kids today are constantly chewing gum. Seriously, pay attention the next time you’re walking through the mall or hanging out at the local Starbucks. If you can get past the high shrill voices of “OMG!” and “Like, you know” pouring out of their mouths, pay attention to the constant cud chewing going on and you’ll soon see what we mean.

Being President of the United States (or POTUS, if you like acronyms) comes with a lot of responsibilities, not the least of which is that your profile becomes highly raised. You’re going to be seen everywhere, from every angle. Video, photos – all living on forever.
So if you’re going to be President, you have to be sure to look your best. And be extremely charismatic, so you can get your job done. It’s called “politics” for a reason, folks, and being able to persuade people to do what you need them to do requires a ton of charisma.

How would you like to live in either Blue Ball or Intercourse, Pennsylvania? Cumming, Georgia? Stoner, Colorado? (well, that last one may be more appropriate now than previously, but still…)

So we hear that you may have bought a lottery ticket or two recently, hoping to maybe win big.
Hey – it could happen. It only takes one set of numbers to win, right? And somebody’s going to win the lottery eventually – it can’t keep growing forever without a winner, as that would end up decreasing sales if customers ever figured out that nobody ever wins.
That’s why we still bother to try, because while the chances of winning the lottery drawing are practically nil, it’s still a one in millions chance of hitting… and that’s better odds than not bothering to buy a ticket in the first place.

As we get deeper into the Holiday Gift Giving season, perhaps its time to take a moment to reflect on whether that wine accessory really is something that the recipient would appreciate.
The way Web Watch sees it, if you’re going to give a wine enthusiast a gift, you might as well give them a bottle of wine that either YOU like (so you can then say, “hey, let’s open that bottle I just gave you”) or a bottle of wine that you know THEY’LL like in the hopes that they will open that bottle and share with you anyway.
Funny thing about giving a gift of wine – you’ll probably end up having some of it anyway.

Watching LOLWORK will give you a good reminder that it’s always hard work to create good, compelling CONTENT for your website, but that it’s that same content that also brings eyeballs to your site in the first place. Focus on the content, let everything else fall into place later.
