Drunk voicemail messages can be funny.

Well, perhaps not for the person leaving them – but for the person receiving them? Hilarious.

Now, the ones that get posted onto the Internet may or may not be staged. They may or may not be fake.  Ones that include a note of “hey, leave me a message at ###” are almost definitely fake, one would think.

‘Cause if it’s a real drunk voicemail, then you went ahead and posted your actual real-for-real phone number? That’s one of those THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T POST ON THE INTERNET.

Web Watch learned this week that not everybody knows what the term SELFIE means.

As with many other Internet-related terms that kids use these days, SELFIE is just a shortened version of the real phrase, SELF-PORTRAIT.

That’s cray-cray, right?  (because saying “cray cray” is so much easier and faster than saying “crazy”. Silly kids.)

So we’ve all seen those CELEBRITY SELFIE shots, usually leaked out on Twitter or TMZ. Some are good, some are reputation-ruining, and others are just so awful that you have to wonder what was going through the celeb’s mind – not when they took the picture, but when they thought it was good enough to release for the world to see.

Update on Girls Gone Wild lawsuit

So a few years ago, Web Watch wrote about a woman who LOST A LAWSUIT AGAINST GIRLS GONE WILD regarding her appearance in a Girls Gone Wild video, even though she is on film saying “no, I will not do this”.

The jury said that there was “implied consent” just for Tamara Favazza being present in the bar where the filming was going on, regardless of whether she willingly removed her top on her own (which she did not do).

One would hope that all involved in the production enjoy themselves equally, from the roadie to the sound guy to the guitar tech on up the line.

Guys – have you ever felt, you know, “not so fresh”… down there?

Seriously, Web Watch couldn’t believe the conversation that a buddy of ours was telling about a friend of his who uses a POWDER-FILLED SOCK to apply GOLD BOND MEDICATED POWDER to, well, just about everything (if you know what we mean).

Apparently this dude has a knotted up tube sock that he just swings around, flapping powder where he needs it most, in all those hard-to-get-at places.

We can only imagine the cloud of dust that lingers all over his bathroom floor.

Garfunkle and Oates is a duo, consisting of Kate Micucci, who you may recall played the ukelele as Gooch on the TV show SCRUBS; and Riki Lindhome who has appeared on BIG BANG THEORY and a number of other TV shows and movies.  Together as Garfunkle and Oates, they are likely best know for their classic hit PREGNANT WOMEN ARE SMUG:

The Stupidest Game Show Answers, Ever

Game shows can run the gamut from educational (Jeopardy) to family challenge (Wheel of Fortune) to just plain silly (Double Dare).

And game shows have led to a number of common catchphrases that we still use today in other aspects of life:

  • Come on down!
  • X gets the square!
  • Big money, no whammies!
  • In the butt, Bob

Yet while we’re sitting at home watching and playing along with the contestants who are competing under-pressure, we KNOW that we always get the answers correct.

But under the pressure of the TV cameras, sometimes the contestants on the shows just get things a bit wrong.
