How many sexual partners have you had over your lifetime?
Whether it’s just zero or one, or more than 100, the number of partners that you’ve engaged with has made you who you are today – for better or for worse (although we hope it’s for the better, no matter which your choice has been).
But while you may (or may not) be comfortable with the number of partners you’ve had, you still have to deal with others’ perception of you based on that number.

First, it’s fast. Convenience plays a big part of the equation here. Have you ever noticed that you can get a burger in a few seconds at your local fast food burger joint, but asking them for a salad kinda throws the staff for a loop?
“wha? salad? uh, where do we have the salad fridge? Where’s the list of dressings? Sorry – we ran out of the one salad we had prepared, would you mind waiting 20 minutes while we defrost one from the freezer for you? You want fries while you wait? We got those right here for ya…”

The key for us in watching a good magic show is being able to escape from the practical, logical mind and stop wondering about how David Copperfield or Penn & Teller do their acts and enjoy the illusions for what they are. As the old saying goes, don’t ruin the magic.
The illusions aren’t the same once you know how they’re done, or at least have thought of a plausible way for the trick to be accomplished. You spend all your time looking for the hook and not appreciating the trick for the trick.
