Maybe Angelina and Brad have it right — just don’t get married (or, at the very least, tell the kids that you’re going to get married… even if it’s “eventually”).

Couples that we thought were in it for the long haul — Johnny Depp, for example — can even surprise us by separating.

Over the years, Web Watch has seen any number of our friends get married, get divorced, and get married again. For some, it’s turned into a comedy of errors as to how long their current marriage is going to last – whether it will be shorter or longer than the last one.

It happens.

Marriage isn’t for everyone.

Call it what you will: the FAMILY BED, COSLEEPING, or just being a parent who loves the comfort that sleeping near their children brings to them — sharing the parental bed as a family can be very beneficial to uniting the family unit – just as it may seem a bit unusual to those parents who don’t follow the same practice.

The Family Bed is different from having all the kids jump into the bed with their parents because they’re sick, had a nightmare, or are scared of the big thunderstorm that’s going on outside.

Web Watch is lucky that we love sports, and we surround ourselves with others who do as well. (Although, to be honest, if we hated sports we likely would surround ourselves with other like-minded sports haters. Funny how the world works, isn’t it?)

But we often hear about relationships that fail because HE likes to do things that are surrounding the College Football Game Of The Week, and SHE would rather not. On the other hand, we have plenty of friends whose relationships thrive as the couples share the thrills of victory and the agonies of defeat.

So what’s a woman to do when she absolutely, positively loves her man, but has 100% no interest whatsoever in the sports that he’s chosen to watch?

One of Web Watch’s friends wanted out of his marriage so badly, he left everything behind. The ex-wife got everything – including his clothes. He felt it was easier to just replace all his stuff then it was to have to deal with her in any way.

Yeah, that was a rough divorce, but rest assured that he’s in a much, much happier place now.
