One thing that everyone should do at some point in their lives is give back a little bit.
How you give is entirely up to you. Some choose to contribute money or time to their church, while others participate with local healthcare or children-oriented organizations.
Maybe you take the time to help build a house, or do yardwork for someone who is unable to do it for themselves.
Weddings can cost a lot of money. Web Watch has heard stories from our friends of their weddings costing tens of thousands of dollars — one even went into the six figures, partially courtesy of the location held high above Manhattan.
But just as there are many ways that can cause a wedding cost to skyrocket, there are plenty of other ways that the happy couple can cut down on the costs of some wedding specifics.
Web Watch has told you about a friend of ours who cancelled a vacation in order to buy a pair of shoes.
For her, the shoe purchase was a much better use of that discretionary money than travel was. And that’s okay – everyone has choices to make, and she was okay with this one.
But what if we were to tell you that this may have been a wise budgetary move, but not for the reasons you think?
