Top 100 Most Popular Drinking Games, and 5 Drinking Game Types

Back in the day (and it’s always “back in the day” with these types of stories, isn’t it?), Web Watch would be known to partake in a drinking game or two amongst friends.

Why?  Mainly because the games themselves were kinda fun.  A bit stupid, perhaps, but always a fun challenge.  Drinking was merely secondary to the activity, as one never needs a “game” of any sort to take a drink whenever one would like.

The key, of course, is to know when to say when and back out of the activity.  Drinking too much because of some stupid game rule is never a good idea for anyone.

How much money is made per music format sold?

We all own some music.

Whether it be strictly on digital downloads from Apple, Amazon, or other digital vendors; CD purchases, cassette tapes, vinyl — or, if you’re going super old-school, 8-tracks or even some 45 singles… owning music to be able to play on-demand, in the manner and format that most appeals to you, is what some would equate to living the perfect life.

Scientists can now see what you are dreaming

Everybody dreams while sleeping.

The key is whether you can remember what you’ve dreamt or not.  Some dreams are awesome, some are nightmarish – but all reflect some aspect of the subconscious (whether buried deep or not).

And, if you’re like most people, you may find yourself wishing that you could revisit your dream state to finish out the story that was being unraveled while you slept.

Only 52% of cellphone owners have done this

It’s happened to everyone, at one time or another.

You’ve stepped away from your desk, bar stool, wherever — and not 3 minutes later you discover that your cellphone is missing.

Gone, in a blink of an eye.  Your entire life – photos, contacts, important numbers, etc — all gone forever.  Stolen, perhaps. Lost, definitely.

And the chances of finding your phone in the Lost & Found are likely slim to none.

Men: How to stop the dreaded “pee spot” from appearing

While most any story about pee can be amusing, there are times when pee is not a laughing matter.

There are any number of reasons why adult men would suffer from occasional incontinence, or just can’t stop the post-pee drip from appearing on the outside of their khaki pants — and that usually happens immediately before an important business meeting where you have to stand in front of the company board and make a formal presentation.

And all you can think about is “are they looking at my pee stain”?

What are the items you carry on your person every day? (They could save your life)

Have you ever heard of the acronymEDC?

It stands for EVERYDAY CARRY, and represents those few things that you always carry on your, no matter what.

For some people, it’s the standard — watch, wallet (with specific credit cards, shopping cards, insurance cards, family photos), cell phone, car key, house key.  A pocket full of change.  Maybe some lip balm.

Women have it a bit easier, as various purse sizes allow for a wide expanse of Everyday Carry items to be toted around like (literally) there’s no tomorrow.  Heck, one day we even watched a woman pull out a 1lb bag of coffee beans from her purse that she just happened to be carrying around with her for no observable reason that evening.  (Ask us for the full story, next time you see us out and about. It’s a hoot.)

Some of Web Watch’s friends insist on carrying switchblade knives of various deadly lengths.  Others prefer the more subtle Swiss Army Knife.

How to permanently block all online ads

Look, we get it.

The Internet is free, right?  You have to pay to be online, but once you’re there – the millions of pages of information out there should be yours for the viewing, without being blocked by persistently annoying advertising invading your viewspace.

Web Watch is in a quandray over this – we’re supported by advertising on the site, so why would we want to share with you one simple, easy way to completely block all ads from ever appearing on your computer or WiFi-enabled devices ever again?  If this idea takes off, we’ll have to switch to a subscription-based model – but we’d rather not go that route if we can help it.
