Video Fun: Bar games that you’ll never lose

Over the years, Web Watch has had the pleasure of meeting a number of our readers and sharing war stories about things people will do at a bar for fun.

It’s true – get enough drunk people together, and the infamous catchphrase of “hey y’all – watch this!” is often followed by “betcha can’t”.

Web Watch often offers a standing $1 for certain games and activities, if completed.  Some people say that a single dollar isn’t worth the challenge, while others gleefully take them on.  We’re more than happy to pay up when a challenge is completed – half the fun is getting there, right?

We all know that there’s a difference between being “naked” and being “nekkid”.

“Nekkid” is just more fun.

And if you’re looking for a fun way to get nekkid in your local area with a bunch of others (and a vegetable or two), read on for the nsfw details:

Advice for women who hate sports, but love their sports-loving men

Web Watch is lucky that we love sports, and we surround ourselves with others who do as well.  (Although, to be honest, if we hated sports we likely would surround ourselves with other like-minded sports haters.  Funny how the world works, isn’t it?)

But we often hear about relationships that fail because HE likes to do things that are surrounding the College Football Game Of The Week, and SHE would rather not.   On the other hand, we have plenty of friends whose relationships thrive as the couples share the thrills of victory and the agonies of defeat.

So what’s a woman to do when she absolutely, positively loves her man, but has 100% no interest whatsoever in the sports that he’s chosen to watch?

25 Ways to Tell that You’re Living in a Bubble

The other day, Web Watch was talking with an Internet-savvy friend of ours about the cool stuff we see online, and they surprised us by not knowing anything about the latest smartphone gaming craze, DRAW SOMETHING.

Seriously?  The game has been out for over 2 months now, been all over the news.  And while we haven’t explicitly mentioned it here, we figured that many of our faithful Web Watch readers had already installed it over their copy of Angry Birds.

What it really showed us was that our friend was living in their own little bubble world that they had created, to isolate themselves from the ‘net fluffernutter so they could concentrate on the really good stuff.

You know, kinda like what we do here every day at Web Watch.

When can we use the phrase “Super Bowl”? And other Super Legalities you should be aware of

One question that Web Watch hears a lot from our friends is “Why do some businesses use the term THE BIG GAME or PIGSKIN PARTY, while others use the term SUPER BOWL in their promotional material?” We’ve noticed this ourselves, and are often amused at the lengths some companies go to in associating themselves as being a part of the Professional Football Championship Game without actually mentioning any of the NFL’s trademarks.

Web Watch is not a lawyer, nor are we involved/affiliated with the Super Bowl, the NFL, and its various properties – but we can certainly share some of the things that we’ve learned over the years. Take the following as helpful suggestions, but if you are planning on using any of the NFL’s trademarks yourself – you may want to check with your own legal department and/or followup with the NFL themselves for your own DOs and DONTs list.
