Like you, Web Watch has taken many many years of foreign language classes in school.
Sadly, after five years of Spanish and three years of French, we still can’t read a menu in those fancy restaurants. Web Watch is not a good example of how to succeed in foreign language studies.
But perhaps you have a better ear for language than we do.

(Web Watch will be kind to you: a “selfie” is a self-portrait taken with your digital camera or cellphone. Sometimes done in a mirror, sometimes just done with your arm outstretched as far as it can go. Remember when cameras had timers, and you’d set your timer and run back into the camera shot? Yeah, same thing – but for the digital age.)
More interestingly – what prompts you to take a selfie in the first place?
A good bowl of cereal and Saturday morning cartoons were a rite of passage for many growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. Today’s kids don’t know what quality kids-oriented TV programming was, since everything now has to be sanitized to ensure that nothing is directly marketed towards kids.
Remember McDonaldland and all the fun characters that Ronald McDonald used to hang out with? Don’t see them much on TV anymore, do you? It’s a surprise that they still show up at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, considering the promotional aspect of having a clown as your spokesman.

It can be a controversial conversation between new parents, to decide if circumcision is a procedure they want to put their newborn son through (if not for religious reasons). Some women say that they prefer men who have been circumsized, while other women prefer those that aren’t.
There used to be a myriad of health reasons that would default the answer to circumsize, but in today’s health-aware world, those reasons are becoming less important – and many parents are choosing not to have their children go through the circumcision process.
