How often do you read the Bible? Apparently, not as often as you think

Web Watch knows that not everybody is religious.

There are those people who only go to church on Christmas and Easter (“C&E’ers”).  Some who only attend on High Holy Days.

There are people who attend Mass every Saturday night, if only because they have other things to do on Sundays.

Each person has their own religious beliefs, and everyone can practice their religion in the best manner for their personal spiritual well-being.  And we’re okay with that.

Which Fictional Character Do You Share Your Birthday With?

Ask pretty much anyone about their birthday, and we can be fairly certain that the person you’re asking will be able to tell you about any number of famous people who share birthdays on the same day.

“Harrison Ford!”

“Abraham Lincoln!”

“King Henry VIII!”

“Miley Cyrus!”

A lot of this will be printed in the paper, and the information doesn’t really change from year to year.  Astrologers really have it easy, don’t they?

Singing in the car can lead to accidents

Driving experts had long believed that when you are on a long road trip and feeling a bit groggy behind the wheel, there were a few things that you could try to keep your mind focused on the task at hand.

  • Rolling down the window, letting fresh air into the car
  • Turning on the air conditioner rather than keeping the heat on
  • Singing along with the radio

Well, it ends up that one of the above may kill you.

Women: looking for a date? Men want you blonde and boob-arific. Surprised?

Dating today can be rather difficult.

Web Watch was chatting with a friend the other day, and she was sharing all sorts of stories about the strange people who contact her on her dating profile.  If it was just one person out of a dozen, then she’d write that contact off as a fluke – but for some reason, she’s really attracting the crazies.

We can imagine how frustrating that can be – all she wants to do is meet somebody who’s relatively normal and decent.  One would think that wasn’t asking for much.

Who’s going to win the Best Bathroom in America contest?

They say that you can tell a lot about a place of business (whether it be a fancy hotel, a fast-food restaurant, or your neighbor’s house — assuming your neighbor’s place would be considered a place of business) just by looking at their bathroom.

If the bathroom is dirty, then it’s likely the rest of the establishment isn’t being kept up-to-par.

If it’s a sparkly-clean restroom, then you can tell that the business cares about their customers.
