Sometimes Web Watch runs across websites that just don’t know what they’re supposed to be.
Think of it as website schizophrenia.
This is one of those sites.
Does your company have an iconic logo, one that defines who you are or what you do in an instant?
We’re not talking about a cartoon character spokesman, like the Geico Gecko (or the Geico Caveman, take your pick). We’re talking something more akin to the “apple” logo for Apple.
As we’ve seen on any number of episodes of THE PITCH or CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, a vital part of marketing your business or product can come down to the most simple of items, THE LOGO.
Guys – have you ever felt, you know, “not so fresh”… down there?
Seriously, Web Watch couldn’t believe the conversation that a buddy of ours was telling about a friend of his who uses a POWDER-FILLED SOCK to apply GOLD BOND MEDICATED POWDER to, well, just about everything (if you know what we mean).
Apparently this dude has a knotted up tube sock that he just swings around, flapping powder where he needs it most, in all those hard-to-get-at places.
We can only imagine the cloud of dust that lingers all over his bathroom floor.
They say that a tattoo is a personal choice. A statement.
When you have a tattoo, you don’t need to explain its meaning to anyone; why you have it, where you have it, what that tattoo represents — that’s entirely you, and no one else’s.
Parents and home bakers everywhere struggle with this problem every day.
Their kids want specialized character cakes, and the parents don’t want to violate Alton Brown’s credo of “no single taskers in the kitchen”. You don’t want to be stuck with a specialized character cake pan, only to end up with just one cake decorating option available to you until the end of time.
While most any story about pee can be amusing, there are times when pee is not a laughing matter.
There are any number of reasons why adult men would suffer from occasional incontinence, or just can’t stop the post-pee drip from appearing on the outside of their khaki pants — and that usually happens immediately before an important business meeting where you have to stand in front of the company board and make a formal presentation.
And all you can think about is “are they looking at my pee stain”?
It’s well known that the NFL and the NCAA both frown upon the large amount of office pool sports betting that goes on during their major events: the Super Bowl and the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament aka March Madness.
Add to the mix that the high stakes, unregulated dollars are being done mostly in an illegal fashion (that is, sports betting run by individuals may be illegal where you live), you can see why those organizations and local governments may be a bit concerned about the situation.
It’s been no secret about how much money legalizing gay marriage could add to the economy. What with the parties, suits and gowns, flowers, food, music — it’s not just any party, it’s a celebration.
So Web Watch isn’t surprised to see what one recent survey had to say about what same-sex households liked to spend money on.
