We all watch a little bit of trashy Reality TV. In part because we marvel at the extravagant homes and lifestyles these people live.
Who wouldn’t want to be them – sans camera crews – for just a day or two?
Who would want to live in one of those absolutely gorgeous homes? Well, it turns out that you can, as many of them are available for sale or rent to anyone willing to pony up some cash.

We know! Who would believe that any major fast food restaurant chain would serve anything other than Heinz Ketchup?
A few year’s ago, Web Watch was out shopping and saw a bottle of Hunt’s catsup in the shopping cart. We asked about it, and we were told “Hunt’s is on sale, so we’re buying it.”
Now Web Watch has always been a Heinz Ketchup family. No other ketchup even comes close in flavor to us. We’ve tried those others, and they were just lame imitators of the true Ketchup King.
End result, we said, “we’ll pay you the extra $0.30 you’re saving on that Hunt’s catsup if that means we get to stick with Heinz Ketchup.” And it’s been Heinz ever since.

New parents often have a dilemma to decide, sometimes even before they try to have kids in the first place: are they going to be a “disposable” family or a “cloth” family?
More and more, the trend in eco-friendly parenting is to go with the cloth diapers. Technology has caught up to the absorbent fabrics being used, and they don’t have the stigma that going natural used to have in the past (“unexpected leakage” being the predominant concern).

Apparently, MSNBC didn’t use us as a reference when they published their story yesterday entitled HOSPITAL GARB HARBORS NASTY BACTERIA. Frequent Web Watch readers, however, would already have known this and would have said “pfffft” to MSNBC’s late coverage of this important health-related topic.

There is a hierarchy of crayons in school.
The average child starts out with the standard 8-color box of Crayola crayons. Web Watch is quite fond of this one, as we never really got past the fact that there are different color Reds and Blues in today’s world. To us, it’s either “red” or “blue”, with none of those various shades.
As you got older, you would get the 16 or 24-count box of Crayolas.
Eventually, you’d be lucky enough to get the holy grail: the famed 64-count box of Crayola Crayons with the built-in sharpener in the box.
Eventually, even that was too boring, and Crayola came out with the 128-count box. Yeah, those kids were living the good life. They may not have been able to draw worth a darn, but they had all the tools available if they tried.

Web Watch went to a charity auction a few years ago and won a silent auction for a handful of restaurant gift cards, for restaurants that we would actually go to.
We used three of the four cards, which more than made up for the overall cost paid at the auction. Yet we have one card left that we just haven’t gotten around to using.
And this week we found out that the restaurant it was for just closed. We know we could travel around the country and use the gift card at one of their other locations, but we really doubt we’ll be visiting one of those cities anytime soon. Just saying.
