Choose a Girl or Boy Using Today’s 99.9% Accurate Sex Selection Techniques

There are all sorts of research done that allegedly say they can influence what gender your new baby will be.

Some come down to bedroom techniques, some are due to foods that are eaten, or the type of underwear the father should wear one month before the conception is attempted.

Everybody knows that it’s the father that contributes the chromosome that results in whether the baby is a boy or a girl… but a new study has come out that may pour some fuel onto the growing fire of the mother having some influence after all.

Armpits may be stinky, but it’s a pretty stink

Dove Ultimate
Dove Ultimate

Dove, the skin care folks, have asked this question of women everywhere:  “DO YOU LOVE YOUR ARMPITS?”.

Would you believe that 93% of women surveyed said, “no”?

That’s right – women don’t care for their own armpits… yet Web Watch knows some women who love sticking their nose directly into their man’s armpits, just to take a big whiff.

Maybe beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  But we digress…

A Disney Dilemma: What will autistic children like Ben Miles do without the Snow White attraction?

Snow White's Scary Adventures
Snow White’s Scary Adventures

SNOW WHITE’S SCARY ADVENTURES is a classic Disney dark ride in Fantasyland, one of the original rides at both Disneyland in California and at Walt Disney World.

Go out and ride the Walt Disney World version of the ride while you can, because it is going the way of Mr Toad’s Wild Ride.  That is, Disney is ripping the ride out to make way for a Disney Princess meet-and-greet.

What?

Web Watch will break this down for you, summing up what other websites have already said:  Walt Disney World is currently in the middle of a long-awaited (and much needed) multi-million dollar expansion of Fantasyland, originally with the following changes:

Sleeping with your pets can lead to disease

Sleepy Dog
Sleepy Dog

Web Watch knows a number of people who have no problem encouraging their pets to sleep with them in their beds every night.  We’ve even seen our friends cuddle up with their dogs on the family room doggy bed to take a nap.  (We’ve seen the same people take a nap on doggy bed without their dog too, so maybe this isn’t such an unusual situation for them.)

But professors at the University of California-Davis school of veterinary medicine say that SLEEPING WITH YOUR PET MAY NOT BE AS GOOD FOR YOU AS YOU MAY THINK.

The Medical Entrepreneur: Pearls, Pitfalls and Practical Business Advice for Doctors
The Medical Entrepreneur: Pearls, Pitfalls and Practical Business Advice for Doctors

Web Watch knows a number of doctors and other medical professionals, and the ones that we know are all extremely competent at their profession (based on our experience and what they’ve shared with us).  At the very least, we know that the way our medical staff works and plays is completely different from what we see on those TV medical dramas.  Really – does every doctor sleep with every other doctor?

Don’t answer that.  Some things we don’t really need to know.

The point is that at some time in your life you will either (a) need to find a doctor, due to changes in insurance plans or other reasons; or (b) have either the most awesome — or worst — medical experience and you just need to get the word out about doctors that everyone should go see, along with the ones that maybe aren’t as wonderful as they may think they are.
